Who We Are
Hi, I’m Kashia Spalding, Creative Director and Founder of FifthHouse.
After over a decade designing for major brands, I watched great ideas get watered down by endless approvals and decisions made by people who didn't understand design. I built FifthHouse to work differently: direct collaboration, real creative leadership, and work that's worth what you pay for it.
FifthHouse is built on a core belief: design is communication. It shapes how people understand you, trust you, and choose you in a world crowded with lookalike creative.
My Mexican-Filipino heritage and global upbringing influence how I approach design and creative strategy. It gives me a wider lens, sharper instincts, and a commitment to original work that fits the people you want to reach.
Inside the studio, Paloma, our Chief Vibes Officer and resident office dog, keeps the energy high, the ideas fresh, and the toys scattered.

Bernard is a full-stack web developer and digital strategist with more than a decade of experience building fast, accessible, and scalable digital platforms. He’s worked across healthcare, media, and technology, focusing on performance, security, and usability. His toolkit includes WordPress, Drupal, and modern DevOps workflows that keep projects stable and efficient.
As FifthHouse’s development partner, Bernard brings technical clarity and a collaborative mindset to every build. He turns complex requirements into intuitive websites that support the strategy and creative direction behind each brand.

As a FifthHouse collaborator, Cody supports design execution and production work across client projects. From brand identity systems and presentation materials to digital templates and component libraries, he ensures every asset is thoughtfully designed and production-ready for both print and digital use.
