The Challenge:The Subject Is the Problem

CareNow needed educational social content about pink eye for Instagram and LinkedIn. Showing pink eye visually goes one of two ways: too clinical to hold attention, or graphic enough that people look away. Both fail.

  • A subject most people don't want to look at

  • Feeds where the content autoplays silently

  • Medical accuracy requirements

  • A scroll that gives you about a second

The Work

Pink Eye Explainer

Shape and motion carry the symptom story. Designed to read with the sound off.

The Results:Clear Without the Wince

The video performed well across internal and public channels with positive engagement and no content complaints. It cleared review with minimal edits and stood out from typical health content by being polished instead of clinical.

Client feedback

You got the point across without ever showing something that made people look away. The visuals were clean, smart, and still totally on message.

Quick Answers

How Do You Explain a Medical Symptom Without Graphic Imagery?

Abstract it. Shape, motion, and color can carry discomfort, transmission, and recovery without a clinical photo, which keeps people watching instead of scrolling.

What Makes a Video Work for Sound-Off Autoplay?

The story has to hold up with the audio muted. That means the visual sequence carries the meaning and any essential words are on screen, not in a voiceover.
