Amedisys

A healthcare brand built for print collateral that broke down online. I rebuilt the guidelines with accessibility at the center.

The Challenge:Beautiful in Print, Broken Everywhere Else
Amedisys had a rebrand that worked in print and failed online. Muted colors with low contrast. Incorrect color values in the original guidelines that made consistent print output nearly impossible. No accessibility guidance, no icon system, and no rules for video, web layouts, or PowerPoint. Teams were inventing their own answers. When the pandemic pushed everything online, the cracks stopped being ignorable.

The Results:A Brand People Stopped Working Around
Teams got a system that worked digitally without constant questions or rework. The PowerPoint templates and icon set were adopted across departments right away. Accessibility was built in rather than retrofitted.
Client feedback
This is the first time our brand has felt usable across every platform. The guidelines finally reflect how we actually work.
Quick Answers
What Goes Into a Digital Brand Guidelines Rebuild?
A full audit of existing assets, updated guidelines with accessibility standards, icon and illustration systems, templates, and support while teams adopt it.
Can Existing Brand Guidelines Be Updated for Digital Instead of Replaced?
Usually, yes. The audit identifies what holds up and what doesn't, and the rebuild keeps the parts that work. Color and contrast are the most common failures.
Why Do Print Colors Come Out Wrong?
Often because the guidelines list hex values with no tested CMYK or Pantone equivalents. Translating them and proofing on real stock is what fixes it.
