The Challenge:Recognition Without a Room

2020. A remote workforce, no in-person events, and a communications team that needed to recognize frontline nurses in a way that felt energizing instead of heavy. The obvious version of this campaign was a corporate thank-you email, but that wasn't going to work.

  • No in-person events and no way to gather staff

  • Nurses spread across dozens of care facilities

  • A tone problem: everything else that year already felt heavy

  • A limited-run production budget for anything physical

The Results:Worn Long After the Year Ended

The campaign reached field and remote teams across dozens of care environments. Nurses kept wearing the pins and using the profile frames well throughout the year. The CEO called it one of his favorite campaigns since joining the company.

Client feedback

You found a way to make this feel fun and connected when everything else felt heavy. The superhero theme landed perfectly, and the mix of physical and digital assets made it feel personal even from a distance.

Quick Answers

How Do You Run a Recognition Campaign for Remote Teams?

Give people something that arrives outside the inbox. This campaign paired digital assets with pins, magnets, and mailers so recognition showed up physically for staff who were never in one place.

Can Physical Items Fit a Small Campaign Budget?

Yes, if you design to the production method from the start. Enamel pins, magnets, and a printable coloring page all hit a limited-run budget because the artwork was built for those constraints.
